Overview

AUDEMAT FM MONITOR (formerly known as GOLDENEAGLE FM) is a powerful and professional solution for FM monitoring at the transmitter site or in the coverage area.The unit sequentially monitors a set list of stations and continuously ensures that your FM network complies with both legislation and your expectations.

The unit includes a complete set of tools which will alert you to any alarms that occur, perform real time analysis including audio and RDS streaming, and also allow you to remotely control your facilities with ScriptEasy and optional GPIO.

Monitoring of FM Stations

Connected to 1 or several antennas, the Audemat FM Monitor can monitor up to 40 FM stations in round-robin mode. In each monitoring cycle (~1s per frequency) the unit measures and compares the different RF parameters to alarm thresholds. In case of measurement out of conditions (reception, subcarrier levels, audio…), an alarm is set and a notification can be send by SNMP or email. All measurements are stored during 1 month and can be exported as a CSV file.

At any moment, a remote user can connect to the unit to consult the measurements in real-time or to listen to the audio of the stations without stopping the monitoring cycle.

 

RDS Streaming

Very comprehensive and useful, the RDS streaming page allows the consultation of the broadcasted RDS data.

The RDS content is decoded and displayed in real-time.

Statistics on errors, on group presences are provided with filtering possibilities and thanks to this powerful analysis tool even the extended information can be verified.

 

MPX signal analysis

For a deeper view of the signal quality and also to be sure to comply with the broadcast rules, the unit is delivered in standard with powerful tools.

The MPX deviation as well as the MPX power measurement can be displayed in real-time according to the ITU recommendations.

A clear view of the MPX spectrum is also provide to help the identification of any trouble.

Audemat FM Monitor includes ScriptEasy for complete remote control

ScriptEasy is the revolutionary facility control software developed by WorldCast Systems to give users the power and flexibility to create “Smart” sites; ones that can automatically take action to correct any critical errors that affect operations.

Featuring an intuitive Graphic User Interface (GUI), ScriptEasy incorporates GPIO functions, serial communications, logic operators, live user inputs, timers and more. This allows the site operations to be “scripted”, to allow evaluation of multiple parameters and even automatically engage backup systems, while simultaneously alerting relevant technical personnel.
