WorldCast Systems will introduce its new future-ready RDS Encoder at the NAB Show

Mérignac (Bordeaux), France, April 4, 2018. - Leveraging nearly 25 years of experience in RDS encoders with its FMB80, WorldCast Systems is releasing a new innovative RDS encoder designed to meet the needs of its loyal and future customers in terms of system versatility, ease of use and spectral purity.

AUDEMAT RDS ENCODER

This new version of the RDS Encoder aligns with WorldCast Systems’ highest standards of quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

In addition to the basic features expected of RDS encoders, let’s take a look at some of the key features that differentiate the Audemat RDS Encoder.

One of the product highlights is that it is MPX over AES-ready. To ensure the highest levels of spectral purity and quality of audio in a digital environment, the Audemat RDS Encoder is MPX over AES-ready by including RDS encoding directly in the digital chain; This means that the same encoder installed today can be used tomorrow with MPX over AES, eliminating replacement time and cost for the studio or network.

Another future-ready feature of this product is that it is RDS 2 ready. When RDS 2 standards come into effect shortly, the Audemat RDS Encoder will meet these new standards after a simple software upgrade.

Advanced communications along with full control over the Audemat RDS Encoder is possible thanks to its intuitive web interface allowing hands-on configuration, and the SNMP management which provides users with real-time monitoring and management of Audemat RDS Encoder’s operations.  Users can also control their encoder through TCP/IP and easy plug-in into any local Ethernet network.

For additional control, the Audemat RDS Encoder is equipped with ScriptEasy Apps, a powerful, intelligent, and user-friendly control software that connects a multitude of devices via individual apps for 24h real-time feedback and remote control of its connected devices.

Last but not least, the Audemat RDS Encoder has a built-in FM Tuner. WorldCast Systems identified through market feedback that to include an FM Tuner directly into the Audemat RDS Encoder, they could provide customers with monitoring functions along with added ease of use by relieving them of the need for a separate piece of equipment, as is usually the case.

WorldCast Systems is a global leader in RDS encoders and this new product is designed and developed to continue to accompany studios and networks in meeting audience expectations.

The RDS Encoder will be showcased at the NAB Show, Booth N7111, from April 9 to 12, 2018.
