WorldCast Systems Announce 2017 Award Winners

Bordeaux-Mérignac, 8h November 2017 -   WorldCast Systems has announced the winners of their annual Broadcast Awards for 2017, recognizing customers and dealers from China, New Zealand and France for their innovation, feedback and loyalty. 

Now in its third year, the WorldCast Systems’ Broadcast Awards scheme was established to identify and pay tribute to the customers who have played a significant role in the company’s success.  The company’s VP Sales & Marketing, Chris Poulain, explained, “At WorldCast Systems we take great pride when our efforts as a company are recognized by the industry. We have received over 30 Industry Awards since the year 2000! With the WorldCast Award scheme, we wish to acknowledge in turn the incredible work that goes on amongst our customer base and distributor network.”

Announced at IBC in Amsterdam, the 2017 Award Winners are Towercast, France (Star User), Techsolute, China (Challenger) and MediaWorks, New Zealand (Innovation).

French service provider, Towercast was awarded the 2017 Star User Award after 17 years as an incredibly loyal customer. Towercast are not only long-standing customers but they also are dedicated users of WorldCast products right throughout the range, incorporating RDS encoders, FM transmittters, monitoring and telemetry equipment and also FM Test and measurement units.

Winner of the Challenger Award is Chinese distributor, Techsolute, who worked with a major broadcast service provider in China on the deployment of an expert test and measurement system for FM known as FM MC5. Their input and feedback has been truly invaluable to the R&D team.

The Innovation Award was presented to MediaWorks of New Zealand in recognition of their exciting new work transporting analog MPX over microwave IP using APT codecs.
